Thanksgiving day in Dallas…

Many of the coats and blankets you donated were handed out to the people in need on Thanksgiving Day.  As I was helping, I couldn’t help laughing at the fact that I recognized a good portion of the coats.

One of the men’s coats had the name “Kevin” embroidered on one side and a flight emblem missing from the other side.  After making a few jokes about Kevin loosing his wings (I’m not mean, it was a warm work coat, not an aviator jacket), I bagged up the coat along with many others.  The man that got the coat came through the line 3 times.  I knew because of the coat!  LOL!  Sadly, I have no photo of that. 

I’ll post some more photos later.  Here’s a couple from yesterday.
